My last 2012 costume was, again, a very simple one. When I watched the iDOLM@STER anime, I loved Chihaya so much that I just needed to cosplay her ASAP and so I searched for her easiest costumes. I ended up doing the 2011 birthday illustration one first, but this (her casual outfit from the first game) was the one I intended to do at the beginning. Since I had all the materials I needed, and I don't like going to conventions without at least a casual cosplay like this, I decided to make it!
Shoes, trousers and turtleneck were bought. The only actual effort I did make was modifying the shirt: it was an old one, I added a striped bias tape and matching fabric in the neck and cuffs. Then I made the logo, which is a vector I made myself on Photoshop, and printed it in transfer paper. A lot of guesswork was involved, since I own iM@S 2 for PS3 but not the first one for XBOX360 and no image showed it in any way that wasn't a little blue pixellated mess XD
I tried to style the wig better this time (namely make the bangs poofier) but I failed miserably. This wig is REALLY heat resistant T_T
